The Orleans Hotel and Casino is a magnificent new resort
incorporating the flair and flavor of New Orleans with the dazzle
and excitement only Las Vegas can offer. From The Orleans' colorful
French Quarter facade to the dramatic atrium entrance, you will
immediately be surrounded by the spellbinding sights and sounds
of the famed "Crescent City".
Featuring a multi-colored French Quarter-style facade and New Orleans
"street scenes" inside, The Orleans caters to locals as
well as visitors. That means ample free parking, a huge casino accommodating
day visitors as well as hotel guests, easy navigation to restaurants
and lounges, and—to entice visitors—good value in food
and drink. Attracting locals also means the resort offers state-of-the-art
bowling and movie centers.
A coconut-grove garden in the resort's center contains a heated,
year-round pool and a large, heated children's pool. Near the main
pool, encircling a rock garden, is an expansive spa with eight two-person
alcoves.
This hotel offers 1426 rooms in "petite suite" layout,
with separate sitting areas. Furnishings include loveseats, marble-topped
coffee tables, and upholstered chairs. Bathrooms have small windows
that open, and tub/shower combinations. Off the bathroom is a marble

Driving directions from McCarran International Airport:
Approximate driving time is 12 minutes and distance is 4.5 miles.
Exit the airport via Swenson St, then turn left on E Tropicana
Ave. Follow Tropicana about 3 miles to the hotel.
Getting there: The best option from the airport is a taxi ($5–$15;
fees subject to change without notice), or a rental car.
Getting around: The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service
to the Gold Coast Hotel/Casino and to the Barbary Coast Hotel/Casino
on the Strip. Once on the Strip, guests have a number of convenient
options for getting around: on foot, by taxi, or via buses and
shuttles (less than $5; fees subject to change without notice).
For destinations outside the Strip, a rental car is the best option.
