The Mirage is a Polynesian-themed hotel
with erupting volcano. Designed to astonish, The Mirage symbolizes
refined elegance and adult pleasure for discriminating guests from
around the globe. The hotel's very own volcano spews smoke and fire
100 feet above the waters below (evenings). The waterfall streams
with molten lava.
Remodeled in 2002, guestrooms offer semi-canopy beds. Suites
feature a TV that rises from a cabinet located at the foot of the
bed.
The Casino comprising 100,000 square feet, supplies slots,
video poker, backjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, pai gow, keno,
a poker room, and an expansive sports book.
Spa facilities include a gym, steam rooms, saunas, fruit/juice bar,
and full vanity area (free access with selected spa treatments).
This hotel has 2,763 rooms, many with views of the tropical pool,
the mountains, or The Strip. Rooms feature imported fabrics and
carpets in rich colors, canopy-draped beds with reading lights,
mirrored walls, and light-colored wood furniture. Bathrooms have
marble-topped vanity tables and lighted makeup mirrors.

A heated, lagoon-style pool surrounded by a coconut-grove garden
offers grottos, waterfalls, and a quarter-mile of "shoreline."
Included are a children's pool, water slides, a 10-person spa, and
private cabanas. More relaxation can be found in a 22,000-square-foot
health-and-beauty spa that contains a spacious fitness center with
gold light fixtures. Guests soak in four spas of different temperatures
or enjoy spa and body-treatment baths.

Driving directions from McCarran International Airport:
Approximate driving time is 12 minutes and distance is 4 miles.
Exit the airport via Paradise Rd and bear right onto Swenson St.
Turn left on E Naples Dr, then right on Paradise Rd. Turn left
on E Flamingo Rd and go about 1 mile. Turn right on Las Vegas
Blvd S (the Strip) and go about .5 miles to the hotel.
Getting there: The best option from the airport is a taxi ($5–$15;
fees subject to change without notice) or a rental car.
Getting around: There are several options for guests who want
to visit other casinos on the Strip. City buses (less than $5)
run the length of the Strip; private trollies (less than $5) provide
direct service to the larger casinos. Some guests choose to walk.
Taxis are readily available, and guests who drive will find that
parking at most locations is complimentary. A rental car is the
best option for destinations outside the Strip. (All fees subject

This 3-mile section of Las Vegas Boulevard is the city's bustling
primary tourist destination. Impressive casino resorts house major
attractions, dining, shopping, nightlife, and entertainment venues.
