The Green Valley Ranch Resort and Spa is set in Henderson
Nevada, just 5 minutes from McCarran International Airport (15 minutes
from the Las Vegas Strip). Opened in 2001, the resort touts a design
inspired by that of an Argentinean estate. Ceiling beams are hand
painted, Renaissance tapestries line the walls, and furnishings
are upholstered in rich damasks. Outside, there are two acres of
vineyards, eight acres of gardens, a patio area, and a pool overlooking
the strip. There is also a European day spa (10,000 sq. ft.) which
houses therapy rooms topped by glass ceilings and an overhead reflection
pond.
Additionally, the property features a 55,000 sq. ft. casino with
more than 2,000 slot- and-video poker machines, 53 gaming tables,
and a 170-seat race and sports book. There is also a 10-screen cinema,
a 4,200 sq. ft. arcade, a 3000-seat amphitheater, 20,000 sq. ft.
of convention space, two tennis courts; and a Bocce Ball court.
Guests have access to four neighboring championship golf resorts.
The resort has 201 spacious guestrooms with views of either the
Black Mountains, or the pool and the Las Vegas valley. All rooms
feature plush arm chairs with ottomans, premium bedding with goose-down
comforters, terry robes, over-sized bathtubs, and large closets.
Other amenities include wet-bars, television Internet access (via
MSN TV), high-speed Internet access, and evening turndown service.
The air is cleaned after every guest departure with an atomizer.

Directions from McCarran International Airport:
Approximate driving time is 12 minutes and distance is 8 miles.
Exit the airport via Paradise Rd toward Airport Tunnel/I-215 and
follow signs to take I-215 east. Take Exit 3 (Green Valley Pkwy)
and bear right. Turn right on Paseo Verde Pkwy and the hotel is
on the left.
Getting there: The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service
from the airport; board the shuttle across from stalls 21 and
22 at Ground Zero. Taxis ($16–$25; fees subject to change
without notice) are also available, or guests can rent a car.
Getting around: The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service
to Mandalay Bay on the Las Vegas Strip. Once there, guests have
several convenient options for travel along the Strip: on foot,
by taxi, or via buses and shuttles (less than $5; fees subject
to change without notice). For other destinations, a rental car
is the best option.

and music. Progressive Irish cuisine, traditional Irish dishes with
a contemporary twist.
The Original Pancake House – Pancakes from morning until night.

The hotel charges a daily resort fee ($5–$15) upon checkout.
