Hoover Dam: It is one of the famous dams located in Western Hemisphere and is a favorite point of attraction for tourists. Hoover Dam is at the base of Lake Mead and on the Colorado River, forming the border between Nevada and
Arizona. It is named after America's 31st President Herbert Hoover as he played a large roll in bringing the nearby states into agreement about water allocations, settling a 25-year controversy. Tickets are priced at $10 for adults and $6 for kids inclusive of access to the visitor's center, intake tower and observation deck. |

Bonnie Springs: It is the recreation of a typical Western ranch of 1860's complete with western mining town, gunfights, hangings, a saloon and museums. The local cowboys organize entertaining melodramatic skits which show a typical Wild West shootout followed by the hanging. On holidays a free miniature train ride, shows the visitors around the Ranch. The scenery at Bonnie Springs is peaceful and there are some wild animals inhabiting the ranch such as horses, coyotes, polecats, badger, deer's and bighorn sheep. |

Red Rock Canyon: It
is located about 20 miles (30km) west of Las Vegas and few miles from Bonnies Spring, Old Nevada has multi-colored scenery .It is a great place for hiking and other such sporting activities. Visitors may also view plants and animal life under 3,000-foot high red rock formations. A visitors' center at the park's entrance displays trail maps, plant and wildlife information and a history of the area. Ticket prices for cars is $5 and for motorcycles and tourist vehicles its $2. |
